Changes to come in the YunoHost package?
The YunoHost package could require a few changes so that you can have the best experience possible with it as an admin. The idea is to be able to have the website updating itself on a daily basis without any need to do it manually through the YunoHost admin interface. Also it would be to give you the ability to switch from the release branch to dev, and vice versa, in the YunoHost admin interface.

This would require some work, I don't realize how much right now, but it would most likely need more than just a few hours for me. So, the big question: is it worth the trouble? If you are a YunoHost admin who has or plans to have a streams-based website hosted on their system, please comment and let me know if this would be interesting for you.

Note that "Huh?" is a totally acceptable answer.

Little more than a "Huh". If the aim is to make it easier to switch to the Dev version, I personally don't see any point in you spending time on it. The stable version is more than enough for me.
However, what would have interested me (for the future) is learning how to update the Streams package in Yunohost, so that it's not just on your shoulders. Just in case one day you decide to drop everything and become a baker.

Switching to a full git management of the code updates would actually involve a few bonuses other than the branch switching:

possibility to add a script automatic daily updates (just like like you'd have using the homeinstall & autoinstall scripts in the repo), so no need to update the YunoHost package at every release/important commit in dev
ability to manually launch commands if needed (i.e. if you have to run a util/config command).

As of today, upgrading the YunoHost package is not a very difficult thing, you just have to change the sources in two files, so its basic copy/pasting stuff, no more. It's just that you have to do it each time there's a new release. Basically, it just like running a util/udall command, except that instead of simply running the command, you find yourself editing two separate files and having to run the process of upgrading a YunoHost package on Github.

Anyway, I'll begin working on this. If it gets too complicated, I'll just stop and keep the package configured as it is now. And if end up switching things, you won't even see the difference. Except that you'll need to update the package manually less often.
